About Us Wash Wizard Auto Spa is Arizona's first vehicle wash to apply green construction and technology practices. We used mostly local professionals, labor and materials to deliver a vehicle wash that is truly in harmony with the environment (environmental impact).
Our ride-thru, concept delivers a clean, dry car in 4 minutes. This includes double foam polish, sealer wax and air dry applications. We offer complimentary self-serve vacuums for our customers convenience. Our 8 foot 6 inch clearance will wash larger vehicles with ease. We offer express detailing services for those customers desiring extra care for their vehicle finish.
We only use environmentally friendly cleaning solutions, which will also get vehicles sparkling clean. Our series of computer controlled arches apply soft, warm, wash solutions under controlled pressure. All of our wash process water is collected, treated and reused. The International Car Wash Association has designated Wash Wizard a " Water Saver " facility.

We clean and dry cars in 4-minutes.
SAFETY
Vehicles ride in safety on a belt conveyor in a lighted and spacious wash bay. No mechanical washers ever touch the vehicle. We also wash large vehicles, up to 8 ft., 6 in. with ease.
QUALITY
After the computer controlled pre-wash station, the vehicle is gently washed by hand to provide a totally clean vehicle. Computer controlled polish and sealer wax applications offer further surface protection. The vehicle exits the tunnel after a final fresh water rinse and air dry.
EXTRAS
Complimentary self-serve vacuum stations are available for customer use. We offer 30-minute Express Detailing. Enjoy a delicious snack or beverage while you wait at the on-site Coffee Wizard Café.
GREEN & SUSTAINABLE
Wash Wizard Express was developed by applying advanced green construction and technology practices. Recycled building materials, sourced locally, were used throughout the construction process. All wash water is collected, treated and reused. All rain water is collected, either reused or allowed to naturally drain into the subsurface water table. Customers can now have their vehicles washed while protecting the environment.

Tempe, Ariz. December 1, 2011 - Hanna Development, Inc., based in Tempe, has been developing vehicle wash facilities for clients throughout Arizona and New Mexico since 1988. Several of Hannas original clients now own multiple locations in the Phoenix Metro area. Applying environmentally responsible design build techniques, the company recently completed construction on its first company owned vehicle wash.
The newly completed Wash Wizard Auto Spa is Arizonas first vehicle wash to apply green construction and technology practices. It is conveniently located at 1845 E. University Dr. in Tempe. The ride-thru, touch-less concept delivers a clean, dry car in less than 4 minutes including double foam polish and sealer wax applications. Complimentary self-serve vacuums are available for customer convenience. The wash can accommodate larger vehicles with its 8 foot 6 inch clearance. The site also includes a drive-thru quick serve café building currently operating under the Coffee Wizard brand. The International Car Wash Association has designated Wash Wizard a Water Saver facility. Customers can now enjoy the magic of driving a clean car while also helping to keep our environment clean.
It was a worthwhile project that required a team effort to complete; we wanted a design concept that improved vehicle wash efficiency, that created a positive environmental impact and which would truly be a positive addition to Tempes architectural landscape states Jim Hanna, one of the owners. The completed project includes significant high level LEED certification achievements as follows:
● Roof rain water is collected and recycled for landscape irrigation, and for the patio fountain.
● Permeable pavers capture all parking lot surface water allowing for natural storm water retention and drainage and
heat gain reduction.
● Buildings are constructed from recycled polystyrene blocks, which provide strength and insulation value.
● Recycled denim jean material is used as ceiling insulation in lieu of fiberglass.
● All car wash process water is collected, treated and reused.
● An advanced touch-free technology wash process uses biodegradable, environment friendly wash solutions.
● A geothermal A.C. system and computer managed lighting and motor controls contribute to electric energy
conservation.
● Infrastructure is in place for future solar energy production, and electric car charging.
Wash Wizard Auto Spa is developed to serve local businesses and the general public with ease and at affordable pricing. It was designed and built mostly using local professionals, labor and materials. It is truly a part of the small business infrastructure that is locally owned and that provides the services needed to maintain Tempes livability and vitality.
